Este año ha sido un gran desafÃo para todos, especialmente para nuestros pacientes que necesitan fisioterapia durante esta pandemia. Recientemente, varios pacientes cancelaron sus citas a regañadientes porque son una categorÃa de alto riesgo para COVID-19. Tuvieron mucha mejorÃa durante el curso de su tratamiento y estaban preocupados de retroceder y perder el impulso que habÃan ganado si no continuaban viniendo a la clÃnica.
Informamos a nuestros pacientes que nuestra práctica ahora ofrece visitas de telesalud. Esto nos permite ayudar a nuestros pacientes en la comodidad, conveniencia y seguridad de su propio hogar.
La telesalud es una gran opción en este momento, ya que intentamos limitar el contacto de persona a persona para reducir la exposición al COVID-19. La telesalud también será una gran opción para muchos pacientes que se encuentran limitados por el transporte, las largas horas de trabajo, los problemas de cuidado de los niños, viajan con frecuencia, viven lejos de la clÃnica o viven en un lugar con condiciones climáticas adversas.

Who We Are Looking For:
- A part-time physical therapist aide to Supports physical therapist plan of care.
- Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Prepares patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming, comforting them.
- Provides information to patients by answering questions and requests, allaying fears.
- Helps treat patients by applying heat packs; helping patients onto exercise equipment, monitoring motion; measuring mobility; performing prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques.
- Educates patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains physical therapist supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies, laundry.
